ICT Innovation at KTH

EIT Digital has created a Master's programme joint between European top universities. The programme consists of eight tracks to choose from when applying to the programme, six of which are partially hosted by KTH.

The programme focuses strongly on the acquisition of transferable skills, especially in innovation and entrepreneurship and the tracks are set up to ensure multiple career paths and create awareness of job types and functions in relevant industry, research domain or education. Besides gaining fundamental knowledge in each track, you will also learn how to get your innovations to the market. The Master’s thesis that you prepare in collaboration with a business includes creating a business plan for the commercial exploitation of your project. A basic course in innovation and entrepreneurship and the Business Development Labs Course are the vital parts of this module. An important part of the programme are the mandatory summer school courses between year one and two. There are currently eight different destinations to choose from all around Europe.

Those students who know what they want their future to look like can also specify which business partner organisation they would like to intern at. Also renowned European research facilities are partnered with EIT Digital to provide assistance to students throughout the programme. Students that complete the programme will receive a degree from both universities in their individual study plan. They also earn an EIT Digital certificate, documenting the EIT Digital specific learning outcomes.

Students admitted to EIT Digital are guaranteed housing during their time at KTH, usually for up to 11 months depending on contract start.

Information on application and on each of the tracks partially hosted by KTH can be reached through the links below. Note that the Master's programme in ICT Innovation also is reffered to as EIT Digital.

A wide range of first-class businesses are partnered with EIT Digital to prepare students for their future careers. You will be working closely with business partners throughout the whole programme. You will also get the chance to prepare your master’s thesis with our partners on real-life projects. In addition to improving students’ cultural and language skills, this experience will give students expertise in their chosen technological field, as well as provide them with excellent qualifications for managerial posts in global markets.
