Project information

This project should generate knowledge around material properties in mechanotransduction. More specifically, dynamic mechanical loading will be applied to a material in a bioreactor, and the process by which cells respond to this mechanical environment will be evaluated.

In addition, preparation and discussion around a clinical study (PrevMesh, ClinicalTrials.gov NCT02487134) is also a part of this pre-study. In these discussions will the results from the mechanotransduction have an important impact.
