About me
Seyoum Eshetu Birkie is an associate professor in Operative Industrial Production Control. He conducts research in the area of operations: planning and control, risk management in light of sustainable and resilient production systems.
Seyoum has published several articles in international peer reviewed journals including International Journal of Operations and Production Management, Production Planning & Control, Supply Chain Management-An International Journal. Seyoum has also contributed chapters to edited books. See here for more details.
Seyoum's current research include:
- Investigation of relationship of production management systems such as lean with sustainability efforts in light of performance measures at operational and supply chain levels
- Analysis of disruption risk propagation
