Tutorial 3: Concept

1. A revised submission of Tutorial 2

You should revise your submission according to the feed-back that you have received.

2. Three reference projects

Find and study three different projects that relate to your target group, that will deepen and inspire your own project. Write a summary and include images and other relevant material that describes the selected projects.

3. A description of the purpose and goal of your project

Answer the question: Why do we carry out the project (objective) and what are our goals? A tip is to ask the question WHY? three times in a row to get a more specific answer. Describe the purpose and goal of your project.

4. A description of your concept

Describe how you plan to improve the situation of the socially excluded group of people that you have identified with text, sketches, mind-maps, inspirational images and objects, etc. Discuss the meaning of abstraction when developing an idea. 5. A title

Maximum three words.

7. SWOT

Run your project through a SWOT analysis and present your outcome in a diagram.

8. A weekly reflection of the group dynamics

Submit a summary on how the group has worked during the past week. What has worked well and what has not? What do you need to change in order to improve the efficiency and well-being of the group?

9. Feed-back of another group's submission of Tutorial 3

Your feed-back should be uploaded next to the group's number that you are giving feed-back. This should be done right after the Tutorial session is finished.
