KTH Electrical & Electronic Engineering ranks 17 in the world

In last year’s prestigious QS ranking, KTH placed in the very top within the subject of “Electrical & Electronic Engineering”. This year, KTH ranks as 17 in the world and once more places in the top.

The QS ranking is one of the largest and most respected ranking systems in the world. QS presents various annual rankings based on a combination of surveys and bibliometric data. In the QS subject ranking, KTH places at 17 within “Electrical & Electronic Engineering”.

Stefan Östlund is Head of KTH School of Electrical Engineering where the majority of KTH activities in the "Electrical & Electronic Engineering" are conducted. He is proud that KTH once more receives a prominent ranking and says that this is a result of dedicated working in several areas.

“In a global world, it is extremely important to attract the very best students. This year’s placement shows that last year’s ranking wasn’t a coincidence”, Östlund says. “Being 17th in the world and 6th in Europe is a result of dedicated long-term work in order to build internationally strong research groups and to offer high-class education with committed teachers and students.”
