Wide range of research at EECS Research & Impact Day 2025

Published Jun 12, 2025

For the second year, EECS Research & Impact Day is organised. This year's event will highlight research on our digital future, space research, AI and cybersecurity.

"Creating this year's Research & Impact Day programme is one of the highlights of the year. The topics in focus for this year's programme have emerged during the year and are linked to both technology breakthroughs during the year, where space is a focus, and to strategic research initiatives," says Lina Bertling Tjernberg, Deputy Head of School at EECS.

This year's EECS Research & Impact Day will take place on 19 August in the Alfén Hall at KTH (F1). The programme, which consists of four panels, spans many different research fields at EECS and shows the wide range of research available at EECS.

During the year, the EECS school management has visited departments at the school with a focus on research activities and this has been a great inspiration for the programme. The departmental visits have provided an opportunity to gain an insight into the school's extensive research activities.

"In the programme, I have tried to have all departments of the school represented, and also with an intention to invite new participants into the programme. Throughout the programme, there is an idea of inclusivity where the voices of senior as well as junior researchers are represented with all research groups and sciences of the school."

"I would also like to encourage all researchers to send in examples of their research and participate in the exhibition during the EECS Research & Impact Day."
