  • 20 ECTS credits in cell biology, biochemistry, microbiology, genetic engineering and molecular biology

  • 15 ECTS credits in mathematics, numerical analysis and data science

  • 5 ECTS credits in programming

Selection criteria

The selection process is based on the following criteria: study results (e.g. grades, courses and English), motivation for the studies (e.g. letter of motivation, references, courses and relevant work experience) and previous education.

Previous education is assessed on the quality that the previous education is considered to have in the subjects that are relevant to the programme applied for. To assess this, UKÄ’s quality review for Swedish universities is used. University rankings are used for assessment of previous educations from universities outside Sweden. The rating of each student is made on a scale of 1-75.

Recognition of prior learning

Suppose you entirely or partially lack a formal requirement for a course or programme, but you believe you have the necessary knowledge to meet the requirement. In that case, you can apply for recognition of prior learning .
