Protein materials and nanofibrils
Improved competitiveness of biomaterials compared to petroleum-based materials is important for a development towards a more sustainable society. In this effort, the project mainly focuses on improving the behaviour of raw protein materials by the addition of protein nanofibrils. The recipe of these composites will be tuned aiming at the promising usage. Different kinds of proteins from nature will be studied, e.g. whey proteins.
