ICRA 2023 Workshop on Group Social Dynamics

The Robot Design Lab co-organized the workshop "Towards a Balanced Cyberphysical Society: A Focus on Group Social Dynamics" in this year's ICRA conference in London
The Robot Design Lab was proud to co-organize the “Towards a Balanced Cyberphysical Society: A Focus on Group Social Dynamics” workshop at ICRA 2023 in London. The event brought together leading institutions such as the Honda Research Institute Japan, University of Technology Sydney, Indiana University Bloomington, Universidad Pablo de Olavide, the European Commission (JRC), and KTH Royal Institute of Technology, creating a unique forum for discussion on how robots can mediate and enrich human group interactions.

The Robot Design Lab contributed with a presentation of a soft robotic neck for the social robot HARU, showcasing our approach to safe, expressive mechatronic design for multi-person human–robot interactions.
