Mardinoglu Group

Mardinoglu Lab focuses on generation of the context specific biological networks for major human cell/tissue and cancer types. We employ the reconstructed comprehensive models for integration of multi-omics data and for revealing the molecular mechanisms of obesity associated disorders including insulin resistance, T2D, NAFLD and certain type of cancer to discover novel biomarkers and drug targets. The group consists of 11 post docs, 1 PhD student, 3 research engineers, 2 Master Thesis students and 4 visiting scientists.
