Geochemical retention in surface systems

Evaluation of batch sorption data on radionuclide sorption to soil samples

Publicerad 2011-01-17

Radionuclide sorption onto soil provides for the final geochemical retention of radionuclides in the event of their emission from a deep nuclear waste deposit. A set of batch experiments of under well controlled laboratory conditions have been performed using selected radionuclides and a variety of well characterised soil samples. This project aims at evaluating and interpreting the sorption data.
