Smart Grid - Information management system in Royal Sea Port

Publicerad 2011-01-14

Industrial Ecology participate in a pre study how to implement urban Smart Grid in Royal Sea Port in a project called Stockholm Royal Sea Port Urban Smart Grid R&D project. The main stakeholders in the project are ABB, Fortum and KTH. Associated partners are Electrolux, Stockholm Harbor, Ericsson, Interactive institute, NCC, ByggVesta, HSB and JM

Industrial Ecology, KTH work together with Industrial Information and Control Systems, KTH in the project to formulate the requirements for creating an information management system based on real-time data in order to create a dynamic following up model for the urban district. The follow up model are base on the environmental program for the new urban district and will be build up for three levels, individuals, buildings, and urban district as a whole, by indicators reflecting the overarching all goals in the environmental program. In this pre- study we will look at which indicators that could be used from a Smart Grid system on the different levels, and the requirements needed to create such information management system.

The pre study is going on 2010 – 2011. Project leader for the whole project is Catharina Nauclear, Fortum and Tommy Carlsson ABB
