Student feedback (course evaluation)

The course is taken by an average of 10-15 students per year, and is excellently received by the students. A summary of the course evaluation forms of recent years is as follows:

2018:

  • 21 students took the course (17 MSc and 4 PhD students)
  • 53% of the MSc students considered the course among the top 10% KTH courses
  • 82% of the MSc students considered the course among the top 25% KTH courses
  • 100% of the MSc students would take this course again

2017:

  • 28 students took the course (23 MSc and 5 PhD students)
  • 43% of the MSc students considered the course among the top 10% KTH courses
  • 91% of the MSc students considered the course among the top 25% KTH courses
  • 100% of the MSc students would take this course again

2016:

  • 26 students took the course (24 MSc and 2 PhD students)
  • 42% of the MSc students considered the course among the top 10% KTH courses
  • 88% of the MSc students considered the course among the top 25% KTH courses
  • 92% of the MSc students would take this course again

2015:

  • 21 students took the course (17 MSc and 4 PhD students)
  • 50% of the MSc students considered the course among the top 10% KTH courses

2014:

  • 11 students took the course (7 MSc and 4 PhD students)
  • 57% of the MSc students considered the course among the top 10% KTH courses

  • 100% of the MSc students would take this course again

2013:

  • 6 students took the course (5 MSc and 1 PhD students)

2012:

  • 10 students took the course (6 MSc and 4 PhD students)

2011:

  • 14 students took the course (10 MSc and 4 PhD students)
  • 30% of the MSc students considered the course among the top 10% KTH courses
  • 70% of the MSc students considered the course among the top 25% KTH courses
  • 80% of the MSc students would take this course again.

2010:

  • 2 students took the course (2 MSc and 0 PhD students)
  • 100% of the MSc students considered the course among the top 10% KTH courses
  • 100% of the MSc students would take this course again.

  

As the students give feedback to the teachers, the students will also receive written feedback after the course, stating the strengths and weaknesses of their project work, achievements, project presentation. Feedback during the course happens orally during the weekly progress meetings.
