David Broman named teacher of the year

Published Feb 13, 2018

Putting the student first, making learning fun and the ability to motivate. Those are a few of the reasons why David Broman, associate professor in software and computer systems, has been named teacher of the year by the Student Union (THS).

“If you compare the award with others I’ve received, I feel this one is among the greatest because it comes from the students themselves. And that is something that I’m very proud of”, says David Broman in a podcast interview with Campi.

His courses are given at a wide variety of programmes at KTH, and according to Broman the best part of teaching is meeting the students.

“That is what makes it really fun - to meet and interact with students. But that is also the biggest challenge, to make it possible for all students to have an individual communication with the teacher when given large courses”.
