Hombert one of Europe´s top Young Entrepreneurs

Published Jun 14, 2007

KTH student Jonas Hombert has been appointed one of the 18 European finalists who will compete for the “Young Entrepreneurs 2007” award, sponsored by renowned magazine Business Week.

Jonas Hombert is one of the founders of JayCut, a video community where unedited, incomplete films may be inserted – the idea being that editing of these could be done in situ, and also that several users could work jointly with a project, without having to use complicated softwares.

JayCut had great success as they participated in The Venture Challenge Business Plan Competition in San Diego, USA, in March this year. JayCut, earlier, also reached fifth place among the competitors as Internetworld Magazine appointed Sweden´s ”hottest web makers” of today.
