Korean KAIST to visit KTH

A delegation from KAIST, Korea’s technical university, will be visiting KTH on Monday 31st March. This visit is part of a European tour which includes Cambridge University and Imperial College, London.

KTH is the first of five European universities that KAIST will visit. The delegation consists of the university President Nam P Suh and four professors who will hold lectures during the day at Kista and on Campus Valhallavägen.

The Korean delegation will also pay a visit to the Royal Swedish Academy of Engineering Sciences (IVA) during their stay in Stockholm.
The following lectures will be held at 2.00 p.m. – 3.00 p.m. on Monday 31st March:

  • Perspectives on Silicon Platform Technology for IT. Professor Yang-Kyu Choi. Venue: Electrum, Seminar Room, Isafjordsgatan 26, Kista
  • Molecular Mechanisms of Parkinson’s Disease. Professor Jong Kyeong Chung. Venue: School of Biotechnology, Albanova, Roslagstullstagan 21
  • Rational Design of Nanoporous Materials via Templating Strategies. Professor Ryong Ryoo. Venue: School of Chemical Science and Engineering, Seminar Room, Teknikringen 42
