KTH alumnus new CEO at Morphic daughter

Mats Reimark, with an MSc Engineering degree from KTH, has been appointed CEO of Morphic Technologies´ daughter company for new energy systems, Morphic Business Development, MBD. Mr. Reimark was last employed at GM Powertrain Europe, a part of the General Motors global hybrid power effort, where he served as Director Hybrid Engineering for two years.

Previously Mats Reimark had European responsibility for research and development of control systems, transmissions and hybrid systems at GM. This aimed to answer new challenges in reducing emissions and improving engine performance. Prior to this he was head of part of SAAB Automobile´s research effort, notably a new competence centre for ”drive quality”.

Mats Reimark will assume his new post at MBD in January 2008 at the latest.
