About me

My name is Camilla (she/her) and I am a teacher and PhD student in the Department of Theoretical Computer Science. My research is in computer and engineering education and my area is programme design with a focus on built-in progression. This, I do from a conceptual and student perspective to increase the understanding of how we intentionally can build in progression for different competencies in a way that both takes logical learning progressions and the students' reality into account. In addition to my research, I am also responsible for the course “Applied Programming and Computer Science" (DD1321) as well as helping out with two teaching courses: “Introductory Course for Computer Science Teaching Assistants at EECS" and "Develop the Learning by Using Grading Criteria" (LH216V).

Before my doctoral studies, I earned a double degree in engineering and education(CL) with a focus on information and communication technology from KTH. During my time in the programme, I had the opportunity to study abroad at Trinity College Dublin in the fall of 2016 and at Darmstadt TU in the spring of 2017. I also spent a year as a student at the Department of Mathematics at Stockholm University before I started studying at KTH.

If you have any questions, please feel free to contact me by email. I sometimes get a little overwhelmed by my inbox and miss messages. If I haven't replied within two days, please feel free to write again and clarify it’s a reminder in the subject field.

/Camilla
