Introduction
A short introduction to the fundamentals of functional programming. This is not an introduction to Elixir but to the concepts of functional programming that is common for all languages in the family: Erlang, Haskell, Scala, F#, Lisp, Ocaml etc. If you know the fundamental principles you can easily pick up any language.

* Make sure that you have a running Elixir system installed on your computer.
* Decide which editor or IDE that you want to use and learn how to compile and run small examples.
* Read the introduction to lambda calculus.
* Take a look at the slides for the next lecture.
