Introduction

A short introduction to the fundamentals of functional programming. This is not an introduction to Erlang but to the concepts of functional programming that is common for all langauges in the family: Haskell, Scala, F#, Lisp, Ocaml etc. If you know the fundamental principles you can easily pick up any language.

• Decide which editor or IDE that you want to use and learn how to compile and run small examples.
