Once again KTH's reputation for research and education has been cited among the world's best.

For the second consecutive year KTH Royal Institute of Technology ranks among the top 125 universities worldwide in the Times Higher Education World Reputation Rankings , which were released today.

The results are derived from an annual invitation-only survey of senior published academics, who are asked to list their top 15 universities for teaching and research.

Based on 38,796 responses from respondents in 166 countries KTH is ranked in the 101-125 bracket.

"Reputation is built on impact," says Mikael Lindström , deputy president of KTH. "It's great to see this recognition alongside the world's very best universities. And we continue to develop our reputation for excellent research and teaching by focusing that work toward transformation to a sustainable society."

The same survey results will be used in the upcoming THE World University Rankings, which is typically released every autumn. Together these teaching and research reputation scores account for one-third of a university’s total score in the World University Rankings.
