Organising
About the research theme Organising
The theme “Organising” explores the processes and challenges of organisations when addressing pressing global issues such as climate change and social inequalities. This research examines multiple dimensions of organisational life, including leadership, entrepreneurship, gender and diversity, project management, organisational change, cross-sectoral collaborations, and knowledge ecosystems.
A common point of departure is the acknowledgement that addressing grand challenges demands new organisational forms and new ways of collaborating. A further shared premise is that organisations are not fixed realities but enacted and interpreted by organisational members. Research in this area therefore emphasises the dynamic, ongoing, and emergent processes through which organisational structures, practices, and relationships evolve, with the aim of promoting organisational transitions, knowledge sharing, and sustainable organising.
Research within this theme is carried out through INDEK's various research areas, which are presented on the page research at INDEK .
