Veronica Augustsson is Chief Executive Officer of Cinnober Financial Technology, the leading independent provider of sophisticated solutions for demanding trading and clearing venues around the world. Her career at Cinnober began as a programmer and during her 15 years within Cinnober, Augustsson has held a number of key positions.
Veronica Augustsson, D-98, is appointed Alumna of The Year 2016. Appointed CEO at a leading company within the financial industry at the age of 33, Augustsson already has an exciting and very successful career behind her. Ranked by Financial News as one of the most promising talents under 40 within business and technology, she is an inspiration and role model to many.
Veronica Augustsson is Chief Executive Officer of Cinnober Financial Technology, the leading independent provider of sophisticated solutions for demanding trading and clearing venues around the world – including such prestigious clients as ASX, BM&FBOVESPA, Japan Exchange Group JPX, London Metal Exchange and Stock Exchange of Thailand.
Augustsson is a strong spokesperson for technical agility and quality and has guided product development in that direction. Her career at Cinnober began as a programmer and during her 15 years within Cinnober, Augustsson has held a number of key positions including Head of Sales. Augustsson holds a degree in computer engineering from the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, and has also undertaken the Executive Program in Industrial Managament at KTH Executive School.
Augustson was ranked by Financial News as one of the most promising talents under 40 within business and technology in 2012, as well as one of Europe´s 100 most influential women in 2014.
The price ceremony and lecture will be held at KTH Campus Valhallavägen on October 13.
