Willie Clack has since 1979 been involved in the field of Corrections and Criminal Justice. In 1992 he joined the academia and has been teaching ever since. Since 2006 he is involved in different positions in organised agriculture, his involvement in the National Stock Theft Forum made him aware of the need for research in the topic of livestock theft. Ever since he has published several articles in accredited journals, popular journals and delivered papers at several national and international conferences and has been quoted in many popular agricultural magazines on the topic.
