About me

Marcus Lithander is an experienced instructional designer, researcher, and educational developer at the Royal Institute of Technology (KTH) in Stockholm, Sweden. He earned his Ph.D. in Applied Cognitive Psychology from the University of Massachusetts and has since focused his research on student learning, metacognition, educational misconceptions, and critical thinking.

Currently, he is working on developing courses in lifelong learning at KTH, which will benefit students in their continuing education and professional development. Lithander's research and teaching approach are grounded in evidence-based practices, and he is committed to improving education through innovative course design and research.
