Do you have a startup or research project that you want to commercialize, and that with the right tools could go global? Are you currently a student or researcher at KTH or at MDH, GIH or SSE? Then the Brighter Program is for you!

Destination: Silicon Valley, New York or Munich

As a part of KTH, you have access to a global network of partners and alumni. Via the Brighter Program, KTH Innovation gives you the contacts you need to grow.

Since the start of the Brighter Program in 2012, we have brought its participants to Silicon Valley, often deemed the top innovation hub in the world.

In 2018, the Program expands to two new and exciting locations: New York, USA, and Munich, Germany. Complementing Silicon Valley’s software focus; New York will provide opportunities for those focusing on the media and finance sectors, whereas Munich is perfectly suited for startups within the smart industry area.

From Sweden to the world

October 29th-November 2nd, 2018

All participants take part in the same program in Sweden, before splitting up to travel to the ideal location for their project. After the journey is completed, the Program finishes in Stockholm.

To make sure that you to get the most out of the week spent abroad, the Stockholm-based part of the program includes intensive presentation technique training, advice on getting the most out of meetings with customers, partners and investors, and other sessions targeted to fully prepare you for bringing your project abroad.

During the international weeks, we hold workshops, visit and meet with carefully chosen prominent institutions, companies and entrepreneurs, all there to inspire you and help you on you first steps on your global journey. Outside of the set program, there is also time for pre-booked individual meetings with potential customers, partners and investors.

We wrap up the week with a grand finale pitch night, where you get to pitch to specially invited guests, including potential investors.
