Courses for Electromagnetics, Fusion and Space Engineering

The two-year master's programme in Electromagnetics, Fusion and Space Engineering consists of three terms of courses and one final term dedicated to the master's degree project. Each term consist of approximately 30 ECTS credits. Depending on which track you choose, you will study different courses. The courses presented on this page apply to studies starting in autumn 2025.

Year 1

Mandatory and conditionally elective courses from one track are elective on all other tracks.

Mandatory courses for all tracks

The Microwave Engineering track has five mandatory courses, of which four courses are read year 1.

One of the conditionally elective courses should be chosen year 1 or year 2.

The Photonics track has four mandatory courses, of which two courses are read year one.

Two of the conditionally elective courses should be chosen year 1 or year 2. Optical Measurement Techniques 6,0 ECTS is replaced by Optical Measurement Technology 7,5 ECTS.
