I am an associate professor in "Learning in Engineering Science with a focus on Integrating Sustainable Development". My research is within the area Digital Behavior Change, focused on designing and evaluating digital behaviour change solutions for sustainable development, often with an educational component. Currently, most of my research is centered on digital behavior change solutions to change food waste behaviour.
I work at the the unit Learning in STEM (Science, Technology, Engineering and Mathematics) at the Department of Learning in Engineering Science, belonging to the School of Industrial Engineering and Management (ITM) at KTH Royal Institute of Technology, Stockholm, Sweden.
I have an M.Sc. in Computer Science and a Ph.D. in Media Technology from KTH.
I am currently leading three research projects
- Smart storage solutions in the fridge of the future to reduce food waste funded by Vinnova.
Designing digital technologies for supporting energy-related behavior change in the kitchen, funded by The Swedish Energy Agency
I also participate in two more research projects
- Smart grid stories from the home and participation in future electricity systems, funded by The Swedish Energy Agency
- HabitWise - Creating sustainable everyday habits, funded by The Swedish Energy Agency
