Välkommen tillbaka – nu tar vi nästa steg med verksamhetsplanen

Varmt välkomna tillbaka efter sommaren! Jag hoppas att ni har haft en riktigt härlig och avkopplande ledighet och nu känner er laddade och redo för en ny och spännande termin!

För egen del har terminsstarten varit extra spännande. Det här är första gången jag får uppleva upprop och mottagning på KTH med allt vad det innebär: att se campus fyllas av förväntansfulla nya studenter, möta en engagerad studentkår och känna den energi som infinner sig när ett nytt läsår tar sin början. Det är inspirerande och en påminnelse om vårt gemensamma uppdrag att skapa de bästa förutsättningarna för våra studenter. Jag vill också passa på att uppmärksamma det fina arbete som utbildningsstödet på ITM har gjort för att skapa goda förutsättningar inför terminsstarten.

Samtidigt som höstterminen drar igång är det också dags att följa upp det andra kvartalet i vår verksamhetsplan. Uppföljningen ger oss möjlighet att se hur vi ligger till i förhållande till våra mål och nyckeltal, men också att synliggöra det viktiga arbete som görs i verksamheten.

När underlaget är sammanställt kommer resultaten från Q2 att presenteras i ett kommande nyhetsbrev. Där kommer vi att ge en samlad bild av hur arbetet fortskrider och lyfta fram några av de initiativ och resultat som verksamheterna själva anser vara särskilt betydelsefulla.

Vi ser fram emot att fortsätta arbetet tillsammans under hösten!

Welcome Back – taking the next step with our operational plan

A warm welcome back after the summer! I hope you have had a relaxing and enjoyable break and are feeling recharged and ready for an exciting new semester.

For me personally, the start of the academic year has been extra exciting. This is the first time I have experienced the introduction week and student reception at KTH, with everything that comes with it: seeing the campus filled with enthusiastic new students, meeting an engaged student union, and feeling the unique energy that accompanies the start of a new academic year. It is both inspiring and a reminder of our shared mission to create the best possible conditions for our students.

I would also like to take this opportunity to recognise the excellent work carried out by ITM’s Office of Student Affairs in preparing for the start of the semester and creating the conditions for a smooth and successful launch.

As the autumn semester gets underway, it is also time to follow up on the second quarter of our operational plan. This follow-up gives us the opportunity to assess our progress against our goals and key performance indicators, while also highlighting the important work taking place across the organisation.

Once the data has been compiled, the Q2 results will be presented in an upcoming newsletter. We will provide an overall update on our progress and highlight some of the initiatives and achievements that the departments themselves consider particularly significant.

We look forward to continuing our work together throughout the autumn.
