AGI25 Open House

The students of Advanced Graphics and Interaction at the Visualization Studio at KTH will present their projects at the 14th annual Open House. Please join us to explore the boundaries between the real and the virtual.

The Projects Swish the Fish Join us for a calming and peaceful underwater experience! Design your custom fish on your mobile phone, then swipe to Swish the Fish into our underwater environment. Interact with the fish using our shark and boat props, or get a closer look with our diver camera view. Keep on swimming!¶

VRMusicians

This project is a VR and Music Driven Game: one player selects a Spotify song, and the other experiences a VR world that dynamically changes based on that song’s genre and energy. As the music shifts, the VR player’s environment, post-processing effects, enemy spawns, and difficulty adjust in real time. This creates a unique interactive experience where one player directly controls the other’s gameplay through music.

Pancoholic

Have you ever wanted to flip a pancake but worried you’d make a mess? In this VR pancake simulator, you cook virtual pancakes while synchronizing with a real-world chef who manages the actual ingredients. Will you be the cook or the ingredient manager? You decide!

Trombone Trolley

In Trombone Trolley you play as Trolley Trombone riding his trombone powered rail trolley to travel through the desert of the wild west. Try your hand at playing the trombone in a virtual reality environment and see how well you can play, and how far along the rail you can get.

Hardly Working

"For every dollar, I make a dime. That's why I slack on company time." Hardly Working is a XR Office Procrastination Simulator that sticks you in a virtual 9 to 5 with a boss that has it out for you. Try and (not) work as long as possible, but watch out, you're on thin ice with the boss and he just might fire you!

Dragon Trainer

Welcome to try Dragon Trainer, a cooperative dragon flying simulator in virtual reality. Soar through the sky with your friend, burn sheep, fly through obstacles, or simply explore the landscape from the perspective of a dragon and its rider.

Ba'al's Basement

Oh no, your friend has summoned a demon in your mom's basement! Quick, there is a sack of cabbages next to you, throw them at the demon to banish it back to its burning home.In this two-player experience, you will work together to banish a demon before one of you is sacrificed. One person must throw cabbages (balls) at the demon to damage it, while the other person must use the demonic powers of the ritual to cast spells in order to weaken the demon and empower the cabbages.

Project Capsize

Try your hand at sailing in Project Capsize; a virtual reality sailing experience. Immerse yourself by controlling the boat using a physical tiller and sheet, and feel the wind blowing in you face with our one of a kind wind helmet.

Just Right An interactive storybook of Goldilocks and the three bears

"Just Right" is an interactive storybook of Goldilocks and the three bears with a multiplayer experience where one person is the narrator of the story with the help of a physical storybook and the other completes tasks in the VR environment. Based on the chosen tasks, the narrator proceeds with the story and the two players complete it together!

SituationShips!

Ever wanted to be a ship? Now you can! Grab your friends and enemies and join us for a real life battleship experience (in space!). Each round, cameras detect players' movements to place the ships in the game. Players can then select their target location via relative hand positioning, then fire on the other team. Good luck defeating the enemy!
