Fixed starting dates and presentation dates for 2018 and 2019

With effect from the Spring Semester 2015, fixed (preferred) starting dates and presentation dates are being introduced for degree projects, with one starting period per study period and up to five presentation periods per year.

Starting dates

• Study period 1: August 27 - September 7 2018
  
• Study period 2: October 29 - November 9 - please submit proposal by October 23
  
• Study period 3: January 15 - January 25 2019 - please submit by January 8
  
• Study period 4: March 18 - March 29 - please submit by March 12

The starting dates indicate when the first supervision meeting will take place. Prior to this, the student must have formulated their degree project assignment (proposal) and had it approved by the examiner. 

Unless otherwise stated, the degree project assignment description must be submitted to the coordinator at least one week before the above starting dates.

Presentation dates 2018

Thesis presentations will take place in agreement with the thesis coordinator. Times will depend on when examiners (and supervisors) are available. We strive to schedule presentations during the following periods but allow presentations outside the designated periods.

A thesis must be approved for presentation by the examiner and registration for presentation submitted to the thesis coordinator by the Monday the week before the planned presentation date, i.e. at least one week in advance.
